Canaria - A Spanish island in the Atlantic Ocean The
Canary Islands is an archipelago in the North Atlantic Ocean facing the
western coast of Africa. In this collection you will find a great
variety of typical holiday photos from Gran Canaria, one of the Canary
Islands belonging to Spain.
Most photos are from the southern part of
the island, from Playa del Ingles to Puerto de Mogan. This is also the
main area for tourism on the island. Many of the photos are perfectly
suitable for the travelling industry, representing many of the places.

Travel - Riga - A pearl in the Baltic
Sea Various images from Riga, the
capitol of Latvia. Mostly architectural shots as the city is know for
its medieval architecture, especially in the old town. Latvia is one of
the former countries which was under the regime of the Soviet Union. The
got their freedom in the 90's and has started to build their democratic
ruling style ever since. Many parts of the country still tells the story
of their past, and lots of people still live in poverty. However, the
country offers tourists great architectural details in their buildings
and low prices when shopping. The Daugava River runs straight through
the city and offers a great relief in the warm summers.

Seasons - Scandinavian Summer
- Photos from Norway and Sweden A
collection of shots displaying the different scenes of a Scandinavian
summer. The purpose is to promote the beautiful landscape and the warm
summers we experience, which many people find unlikely. The Gulf Stream
is the reason that we get water temperature up to 25 degrees in the
oceans, other surrounding countries like the UK don't get close to those
temperatures. The air is not especially humid which is great, and the
temperature is on average about 22-28 degrees during the summer months,
June, July and August.
